The state of the environment can be overwhelming, especially as we hear about each individual crisis- climate change, ocean acidification, plastic pollution and the list goes on. Now imagine what that might be like for a child. Join Ann Wasser, Director of Severson Dells Nature Center, for a conversation about how to communicate with the kids in your life about environmental issues without making it overwhelming.

Kids will have an opportunity to do some nature investigations or play on the playground during the session. Because we will be in the park, please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
